Hoon Hay Community Preschool is a small, friendly community based preschool with passionate fully qualified, registered teachers. We have been part of the local community for over 40 years.
Our commitment is to provide high quality education and care at an affordable cost. ($6.30 per hour) We offer 20 hours free ECE for all children 2-6 years old. No added cost. WINZ subsidies are available.
Our hours of operation are 8.30am until 3pm daily during school terms with no minimum daily hours. Currently we have vacancies for children from 3 months to 6 years. We welcome tamariki from all cultures. Over half of our children identify as Maori and we have a number of children of Pacific heritage.
We are proud to be supported by Kidscan. This means that we offer all meals for our over two children as well as raincoats, shoes and gumboots.
